Quick Dessert – Badam Halwa
I love this quick and easy dessert and the fact that it requires just a few ingredients just makes it a favorite.
3 cups of skinless almond(soak in water for 5-6 hours to easily peel of the skin)
2 1/2 cups sugar
Cashews as needed
5 tbsp Ghee
Saffron – 3- 5 strings
1.Grind the almonds into a coarse paste.
2.In a pan heat 3 tablespoon of Ghee and add the almond paste,saffron and sugar.
3.Stir well to incorporate the sugar.Keep stirring for 30 minutes until the mixture becomes semi solid consistency or oil oozes of the mixture.Add extra Ghee if needed .Then switch of the flame
