Being Mom,Humbled by Grace – Part 3

I think the most important lesson Parenting has taught me is Humility.

It has been many a times through my patient Husband,I’ve learnt this lesson.

More than I can count, grace and help has been extended to this exhausted mom.
Forgiveness for a rash word, given with mercy.
The Spendthrift who takes her card out without a second thought and gets what she wants, can see his generosity at the month’s end.
I guess Parenting has revealed the many traits I took for granted in my sweet hubby.
Things I failed to see when we were just a couple.

Aren’t we lucky Moms in that, to have the men in our lives or a parent or an inlaw or a friend,or a household help, help lighten this big responsibility of motherhood :).

Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV)
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.

Over and Over again,God crushes Pride to show Not by my might ,Nor by my Power but by his grace my life is run.
That my child or my house runs not because of anything that I ve done well.
But because he who gave these blessings chose for them to be so.
This house Runs On Grace and it always will.

True Story – my sons first word was Amen which I did not intentionally teach, which is said for less than 5 seconds at the end our night prayers in a 24 hour day,not all the abc’s or colors mommy teaches him day in and day out.

Grace will always come through Moms, wherever you are ,whatever you’re doing. All you need to do is ‘Be Still’.
Psalm 46:10a (NKJV)

10 Be still, and know that I am God;

Blessings!

As you read this site and post, I hope it doesn’t give a  false image of perfection but the amazing grace of god, which has been flooded into it.
