The “I never knew” List…Being Thankful

Many often we see posters saying how much we moms sacrifice ,take an example of the  Fan page of the movie “Mom’s Night Out” which tells all the reasons why a mom needs a night out.Don’t get me wrong thinking that I’m against “Moms Night Out”,Its just these posts don’t seem encouraging to me,they make motherhood look like a dreary ordeal endured.
So this prompted me to make the I Never Knew List….

1.I could Run,just this other day I surprised myself ,got me thinking ,wow did I really run this long !Toddlers!!
2.I could draw ,I found a 3 year old hidden inside some boxes self help book on how to do portraits. Not picasso, but I think I’m getting there 😀
3.I could do frugal.Mr.Wise even made a note to appreciate me on this (ps.I m the spend thrift at our house)
4.Overcame my road fear and learnt driving after 4 long years of not doing so.
5.I can make mom connections with random strangers, just this other day at the playground my waving friend and I went ahead to make mom talk.My introversion seems to take back seat.
6.I have never been more closer to god than I do now, most days send me to my knees.
Life after my little one has changed but it has changed me for the better.
Hey moms I hope you to take time to write your “I never knew..” list, the number of things to be thankful for will AMAZE you.

A thankful heart is always a full heart.

Ephesians 5:20(NKJV)
20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Thessalonians 5:18(NKJV)
18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I would love to hear your “I never knew..” list too, drop them in the comments section :).You could be the encouragement for another mom out there!

Blessings!!
